They should definitely do an AAA/Forgiven(One to Rock, the other to CHR) release next. I think eventually, Never Surrender should also be made into a CHR/Rock single, maybe after those two run their course. But I think AAA/Forgiven should come first.

Rock: AaA and Never Surrender would both be great.
Quieter format: Forgiven and Lucy would both probably work.
I don't think any of the others would really fit, for a bunch of reasons that I can explain later if anyone's interested.

AAA will dominate Christian stations for sure.  More than Hero I think.

Maybe because they are not overtly Christian songs and thus would have a harder time fitting in?

Both Forgiven and Lucy beg for airplay on the softer Christian formats and it'd be a shame and a shock if they don't get it. AAA and NS also would work for the harder Christian formats. But yes, the others are more suited for mainstream. (With the exception of ODTL which could find fans on Christian radio)

But hopefully, all of the songs I like will make it to be singles and hit No. 1!  Tongue

Pretty much.  And while some Christian stations are playing less obvious songs, some of the Skillet ones are just a bit too edgy for your standard Christian music audience.
ODTL could work for both, but honestly, it's not that good of a song, at least as a single...

Sometimes could potentially work for Christian rock...maybe...idk.

Well, I like ODTL well enough, at least as much as TOIG and I recall that went No. 1. But I agree that they got better choices for CHR(Forgiven and Lucy). Lucy could even work on AC. So I hope they try to release a single to a few different markets during the next release.

Sometimes may work for Christian Rock. IDK, it just seems like one of those songs that while still very good, might not be a good radio single. Sometimes is also a dark song and IDK if Christian Rock really could handle it's brutal honesty. Awake and Alive and Never Surrender would likely fit much better on Christian Rock radio and I expect them to be the next singles(possibly in that order too) to Rock. I think we could get quite a bit of singles from this maybe if they try to release different singles to the appropriate markets.

Yeah, Sometimes is a bit too dark for Christian markets I think too...same with Would It Matter.  Great song, but doesn't fit with the market.  idk.

AAA for Christian Rock, Forgiven for the lighter markets.
Now, if we could just get the lighter radio stations past the fact it's SKILLET, they might actually play it...

Anyway, if Morrie, Ness, and secretkeeper are on at the same time, even just Morrie and Ness, you should be SHAKING in your pants, because it gets very scary.  Kinda like watching a really dumb movie.  You can feel your brain start to shut down, and then they strike!

I am in love with both of these tracks.  I think either would be an awesome choice for Christian radio.  It just depends on what you're looking for in a single.  AaA is a really in your face track while Forgiven is a bit softer.  Both have awesome messages and I really think that Skillet can't go wrong with either of these as an option.

CHR Radio stations usually don't have a problem playing Skillet. TOIG and Those Nights both went No. 1 I believe. I heard them a lot on CHR stations. Hero went No. 1 on CHR too. I could easily see Forgiven and Lucy(And maybe Never Surrender since I see that going to CHR and Rock possibly) both doing well on lighter Christian formats.

Forgiven and ODTL. Both of those would dominate on my local christian radio stations.
