I'm planning on going through most alblums and doing the basslines to the best of my ability... is there a way to post youtubes of this up here? Maybe a seperate thread for bass and guitar so we can hear how its played more clearly?

Anybody else down for this crazy cause?  Grin

i don't know what it is, but try listening really carefully for when the chord hits on the downbeat and on the upbeat. downbeat strum down, upbeat up (and don't forget "phantom strokes" in between so your strumming is smooth). yeah. it sounds simple but it's amazing how much it can help. also listen to the acoustic version if you can because it's easier to hear the strumming pattern.

so the acoustic version is all the same chord-wise?

chord wise it would be, the strumming pattern might be a little different but when i listened there wasn't any differences i noticed right away. if nothing else it's a good place to start.

If I had a full band we would make covers of David Crowder songs because his voice gets on my nerves.

they are two different versions. they recorded it twice, first on skillet then on ardent worship.

Oh, OK.... I didn't know that, and obviously didn't look at the tabs close enough to notice the difference...
