Praying for you guys. News update: I got a call back from Mt. Olivet (the home care place I applied to) and they want me to come in for an interview on the 19th. Excited...still hoping for a call from Target though, would actually prefer working there just cuz I'm still slightly burned-out on home care from over the summer. Either way, though, I'm glad it's gone this far at least...

^Target rules! Depending on the situation, it can be a good situation. I enjoyed it a lot, enough to work there twice.

There's one like 3 miles from my school, so EVERYONE from my school goes there for everything. It's close enough that if my mom needs the car back or if I have car trouble, I'll be able to bum a ride from someone, and it'll hopefully be better than my summer work situation. Although, the homecare job would work nicely too, just in terms of money.

Sounds like a great one! Did you apply for cashier, or something else? Their cashiering system is super easy, but mastering it is difficult...if that makes sense...lol

They have an online app and you can pick your top 3 options...we'll see what happens though.

^Thanks Will Sure thing! Is it because FEMA is running the logistics? It's a shame these things fade out of the news so fast... Id say its mostly because nobody was running the logistics for so long, the first FEMA support didn't show up until late last week. Plus it's continued raining off and on ever since the storm, so it's really hard for people to try and salvage stuff and get back into whats left of their homes. The mold causes almost much damage as the actual flood.

I probably picked Electronics, cashier, & carts, so they gave me carts but that ended up having a lot of cashiering too. Id say its mostly because nobody was running the logistics for so long, the first FEMA support didn't show up until late last week. That's crazy, how much a storm can effect up North so drastically. Rough day.. Could you please pray for me and especially my friend Alexis? Thanks a million Praying right now!! :/ Getting my prayer on

Not quite, but when people ask for the restroom, I say matter-of-factly, "It's down there, under the big sign that says Restroom ", followed up by the occasional lament on why EVERYthing in Target is Red, so nobody (that's old anyway) can read anything well.

Is that a problem? NOOOO! Reason: so nobody (that's old anyway) can read anything well. That's crazy, how much a storm can effect up North so drastically. Well, we're just not used to it like you Floridians. This is worst storm we've had in 40 years, it's not an every other weekend type thing ;p

Yeah, I thought of that...but it was the only age classified as senior How about this, 17% of Americans age 45+, and 21% of Americans age 65+ have vision impairment. 2% are completely blind....I hate statistics, as well as forecasts, they're all just like superstitions..
