Wouldn't it be awesome if skillet released another live album titled "Awake & Alive" with all the songs of the new record plus looking for angels, live free or let me die, open wounds, fingernails, perhaps a few songs from alien youth and maybe a cover song also. Like the idea? What's your opinion...

If they did something like that, it'd be a one-off gig, but I'd love it!!!

Basically a greatest hits DVD then. John talked about doing something like this a few years back, but I guess they decided to just stick with Comatose. Maybe someday.

I actually have given this a lot of thought....for me to be satisfied with a greatest hits from Skillet, NOT COUNTING Skillet and HYILYS, they would have to play AT LEAST 30 songs to hit all my favorites, plus the singles like Older I Get and stuff that will inevitably find their way on there.....

Great idea, but i doubt they'd do it. Another live album maybe, but all those older ones that they dont play anymore live probably wouldn't make it in.

Just a brief commentary on the title "Awake & Alive"....I think I have a pretty good idea on how he came up with that name. Back in the day...maybe around '93, we were HUGE fans of the band Mortal. They had an album called Fathom...go pick it up if you don't have it. The first track was called "Alive & Awake". I think we even did a cover of this song once....I know we opened up for Mortal once. Anyways, I think the name is inspired by the Mortal track. Just a hunch.

How do you manage it? Anyway, if Morrie, Ness, and secretkeeper are on at the same time, even just Morrie and Ness, you should be SHAKING in your pants, because it gets very scary. Kinda like watching a really dumb movie. You can feel your brain start to shut down, and then they strike! And shut up? I just decided I'm not a mistake, there is a purpose in me, people do love me, and I am here. Why shut up?
