I thought it may be good to open discussion on this to help encourage fans who may struggle with these issues.

Thank you for starting this topic... I've never mentioned this before for my own reasons, but I struggled with cutting for a long time. It destroyed me, yet it was the only thing that could numb the pain. More pain. (weird, right?) I would love to offer some hope, but honestly, I am still trying to find it for myself.

Thanks for starting this topic, Timmy. Smiley

To say that this is a topic that touches very near to my heart, and has for years now, would be a huge understatement.  In a little more than a month I'll reach two years without new scars, through the healing grace and unconditional love of Jesus.

If any of you ever need anyone to talk to, or just encouragement, please don't hesitate to PM me.  And I mean that, as someone who's walked this road and found that there IS hope.  His scars define us, not our own.

And if you haven't already done so, check this out: http://www.twloha.com/page.php?id=6

Wow guys this thread is amazing.  This is not an issue I've personally dealt with, but several of my very best friends have, & I've been fortunate enough to see all of them conquer it, thanks to God & a few people who really care.  I think it's wonderful that you're all supporting each other, keep up the encouragement.  You never know who else could be reading.
