I posted an Awake banner on my myspace page..thinking of posting a bulletin, informing my 130 something friends to go out and buy Awake. Also going to post some Skillet music on there, to let people hear what they sound like.  |

I just made a new panhead today! She said she never heard of them and then she listened to "Monster." And said she heard that song somewhere. I asked her where, but she didn't remember. But she knew the whole song and could sing it front to back. Now she's going to be getting the CD tomorrow.
Great job, Panhead Blaize! She probably heard "Monster" on a local radio station. |

also request Monster and various other songs (Whispers, My Obsession, Sometimes, etc) on Rockband.
i just emailed a friend about awake coming out, and he shows up at my door the next day with a deluxe edition with a tshirt, before i got mine, grrrr, but im happy he bought it at least.

I've been updating panheads online frequently, and gave away 3 copies of awake, 5 copies of Comatose, and 8 copies of Collide in the past year. I've hung up posters, told EVERYONE about shows near us, and included Skillet in several soundtracks I've used at school, as well as using their lyrics the past 2 years in English class for poetry explication. My freshman year I used Imperfection, and last year I used The Last Night. If I have to do poetry this year, Never Surrender is up. I've gotten in conversations with skilletfans who initiated conversations with me when I wear my Skillet shirts, and began their transformation into panheads, encouraging them to buy music rather than steal it. I've gotten EVERYONE I know who listens to hard rock to listen to Skillet. ...I think that's it.... |
