kill me heal me is one of my favs on the record.
same here. For a long time, at least a month, it was my favourite song of all time. That's probably the longest I've ever had a favourite song for.

Once I explained it to my real friends they said 'Oh cool' and the others...said 'You're wacked' 'You're strange.'

hehe.

It's time we get out there and explain songs and promote Skillet.

I fear that there are many christians who rock out to christian music, but dont take one thing from it in a spiritual sense.

i hate when people just think that since there in a band there entertainment. its not entertainment nomore... it shouldnt it should be a ministry and people should expect God to move and do something not go to get entertained.... Cry

a lot of people do go to concerts to be entertained and are surprised when John gets up and starts talking to the crowd.

but i think it is awesome because it gets the focus back on where it should be - on Jesus. rock and roll is fun, but it isn't fulfilling. not worth selling your soul for (as seen by rockers who killed themselves because of the hopelessness they found in music alone).

it is such an awesome feeling when you go to a concert, rock out, have the Lord give you words for someone else, get ministerd to in the worship, dance before the Lord, sing and shout...

taking concerts to a whole new level.

*gasps in horror*

That was, in my opinion, the only completely incredible song on an otherwise average Skillet album (note that 'average', when applied to Skillet, is still better then any other band in existence  Tongue)

personally, i love most the songs (Come My Way & Will You Be There just don't do anything for me). but the ones that stand out are Eating Me Away through One Real Thing. the progression from one song to the next is awesome.

Eating Me Away talks about sin eating me away, Kill Me, Heal Me talks about dying to self to kill the sin, Thirst talks about longing for God, & One Real is about knowing that He's the only truth in this world. Smiley it moves the album along beautifully.
