My mom can't stand Skillet. At all.
My dad dislikes Comatose and Collide, but likes Alien Youth and Awake.

God Family Skillet Dr Pepper "It's so hard when you're a loser Heaven help us find our way And it's so hard 'cause I'm a loser Heaven help me feel okay" seeing how ben is in starbucks so much, there could be like a movie moment where ben's sitting there drinking coffee with a skillet flyer right behind him, and there's a little girl just sitting there staring I've never seen anyone on the radio...

Of course, I always promote Skillet in some sort of way cause I am so big on them right now. But I think my biggest promotion is bringing young kids to know who Skillet is. Because I a music teacher and a teacher in a public school system, I can't really tell others my believes but because I know Skillet reaches out to more than just a Christian society it opens doors. I think the youngest kid I have turned into a Skillet fan is in 4th grade, but most of the kids at my school are very aware that I am a huge Skillet fan and some are really taking interest in that and some of them have went out and bought the CD now. Of course also cause I travel to several Skillet concerts when they are within 4 hours away from where I am, I always take some of my youth just for the fun of it so we are hearing Skillet alot.

Over the next few months, myself with a few others will be promoting Skillet like crazy. Being in the United Kingdom, Skillet are not that well known. I hope to change this Some of you may know that I have a Facebook group, dedicated to bringing Skillet to the U.K. The first thing we need to do is create a bigger fanbase, to ensure that if they did come to Britain they will be able to fill the venues. So we are creating posters to both advertise our group and promote Skillet. I am currently discussing with a popular, South Wales Radio Station to start playing their songs and speaking of our cause. Also, being a music photographer, I am in contact with a good few bands. I will be talking with them about asking them to also promote us and Skillet, and one band have even said that they will see about covering one of their songs. We will be getting T-Shirts made also, to have bands wear as well as wear ourselves whist we hand out flyers in the city centre. This is only the start, and we may be making a Youtube Channel to document it all Any further ideas as to what we can do will be appreciated.

Wow, that seems like it would be very time consuming. Seems like good ways to promote them though, way to go!

Thank you. I know it will be a lot of work, and no doubt hard work, but if all works out in the end I know it will have been worth it

I'd love to see them in the UK and I'm not even from the UK. Shoot, I'd go see them in the UK if I could. Make it in the summer so get a summer festival going

That's not a bad idea, actually. More people would be able to see them if they were to play at a Festival Would Skillet play a non-Christian Festival, though?

I think Skillet shows over here would sell well... a lot of bands seem to be suprised by the number of international fans they have. I saw family force 5 here in London a few weeks ago - they had ridiculous numbers of fans turn up - far too many for the venue to handle. And the highest FF5 have ever been in the Billboard is #30, so Skillet *should* do even better. If they did come over.. I would have thought they would start at a festival like Greenbelt..
