So, seeing as we get to welcome a new member to the greatest band in history, I thought it a good time to start a thread about her.

In case you hadn't heard, she's Skillet's new drummer. She's 18, and she's British. And... that's all we know so far.

I'm excited. I don't know why, exactly... but I am.

I can't wait to see them in concert and see what she can do =) I'm sure she'll be awesome, probably already is.

i saw her play last night and she is pretty good, but lacks the explosiveness on the drum set that lori had...

She'll probably learn it in time.

Welcome to Jen. You must be under some pressure but don't worry, I can't wait to see you play. It may take us a bit to adjust to a new Skillet face but we will in time. Thanks for jumping in for Lori and finishing off these tours. Smiley

This is probably about the best time to switch to a new drummer since they are on the winter jam tour and they only play five songs on this tour. That means that Jen doesn't have to know many songs. Now she has until March to learn the rest for the Comatose tour.

welcome Jen. Smiley

instead of trying to compare her to Lori (which are huge shoes to fill for sure).... i look forward to seeing what she can do and watch her develop as a musician. just like with ben.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Wink

I don't know why this amuses me, but it used to be ironic to me that Korey & Lori had similar sounding names, & now it's Jen & Ben...idk I have a weird sense of humor.

You know, I think that's it!  Cheesy
Let's just hope when she's signing she doesn't sign too close to Ben's name, we might get them mixed up haha
